They work by narrowing blood vessels in the nasal lining to reduce swelling and improve breathing. These drops are for <strong data-start="1371" data-end="1394">short‑term use only</strong> (usually up to 7 days). Prolonged use increases the risk of <strong data-start="1455" data-end="1492">rebound congestion and dependence</strong>.
